I was going to do a topic post on how I think for people starting out in Super-8, that the Elmo line of cameras are a good place to start.

I was even going to mention that the Elmo 110's can be had so cheaply, and that there were the precedessor to the Elmo 1012XLS.

They come with a beefy 10-1 zoom lens and a macro function that works throughout the range of the entire lens rather than just in the wide mode.

I saw an Elmo 110 listed and was going to refer those interested to it...

I sometimes do ebay searches like "Nikon R10" or "Elmo Projector" to find specific items. I once put in "Elmo Super 8" and one of the matches was 'Super Cute Elmo T-shirt Size 8'. That one still cracks me up.
